Holiday, Business & Corporate Gift Packages Everyone Will Love

Corinne Kocher

Looking for eco-friendly, regenerative, carbon-negative business gifts?

The public is increasingly concerned about corporate responsibility for the effects of climate change. Agriculture is one of the industries most vulnerable to climate change, but farmers are also some of the best positioned to mitigate its effects. This year, plan to share the gift of good food and fellowship with all those you respect and appreciate by having White Oak Pastures' Holiday, Business, and Corporate Gift Packages shipped to their doorstep. Your customers, clients, and employees will appreciate a gift that is aligned with their values. By supporting White Oak Pastures, your contributing to a system that sequesters carbon, creates jobs, and provides year-round pasture for 10 species of animals.

Waste Not, Want Not: Zero Waste Workshop

Corinne Kocher

We're a little biased, but we think White Oak Pastures is a pretty nice place to be. As it turns out, other people have been thinking the same thing. Over the past few years, our on-farm event capabilities have been growing. From corporate retreats to sit-down dinners to workshops, we've hosted a wide range of groups on our farm. With our new coordination system, we are planning more events than ever before.

New Designs in Our Leather Department

Corinne Kocher

We are fiercely proud of our zero-waste production system at White Oak Pastures, using every part of the animals that we raise and butcher on our farm. We are even more proud when this zero-waste production system can produce something beautiful - like our leather products.

Our leather products are handmade in our workshop in Bluffton, Georgia, transforming the hides of our grassfed cattle. With our new partnership with Pergamena Tannery, our fully-traceable leather now has a different look and feel. And with our new craftswoman in the leather department, Chandler Rogers, creating new designs by hand, we have some exciting leather items headed to our store.

If you've seen any of the totes, wallets, bags, or other leather items in our general store lately, you've seen the result of our partnership with Pergamena, a family-owned tannery based in southern New York. Recently, the two brothers, Jesse and Stephen Meyer, came and visited White Oak Pastures.

Leather Clutch Workshop

Monica McLendon

White Oak Pastures invites you to join Fashion Design Professor, Wanda Brown, who retired from Florida State University, along with our leather craftswomen, Alena Ivakhnenko and Rysa Ruth, to fashion a beautiful leather clutch. By adhering to White Oak Pastures' no-waste tenet, we are given the opportunity to fabricate clutches from the hides of our grass-fed cattle.

If you find yourself feeling a bit nostalgic this Christmas Season, make your way to White Oak Pastures’ General Store in downtown Bluffton. Meet Our Leather Crafter Alena Ivakhnenko

Laura Mortelliti

If you visit our General Store in Bluffton you’ll notice our leather workshop tucked in the back corner. Our leather crafter Alena works here daily and has hand-made almost every leather product on our shelves.  Alena grew up in the Ukraine and spent most of her childhood in her grandmother’s garden. There she developed a deep connection with agriculture and the natural world.
