With an overgrown garden full of peppers, a throwback recipe, and a knack or grilling, Eric Wisham from local Tifton, GA blended fruits and veggies together to come up with his variety of delicious handmade Wisham pepper jellies.
In 2012 Eric embarked on his peppery endeavor in 2012 when he came up with different concoctions of jellies based off the throwback recipe he had saved. From there, he spent the next summer at the local farmers market in downtown Tifton before his product hit the shelves in October 2013.
Each batch is handmade with whole peppers and fruits. Every flavor is unique and, of course, has a little kick to it. There are many recipes you can use these delicious concoctions with, most commonly as a glaze for meats and paired with cream cheese on crackers (if you’re feeling adventurous, try with Fire! jelly).
