From Our Farm To You and Yours

It’s the most wonderful time of the year” joyfully echoes from the radio, and it is!

However, they failed to mention that it is also the busiest, most hectic and quite honestly, the most stressful time of the year as well. When the stress of it all becomes too much, it’s important to take a deep breath and step away. A quiet, peaceful day on the farm is the best remedy for holiday stress. Please join us at White Oak Pastures’ General Store Open House in downtown Bluffton, GA on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.

You won’t have to worry about traffic, huge crowds, or long waiting lines. The hustle and bustle are far removed from our little corner of southwest Georgia. If you’re an early bird, our Food Truck located at the General Store will start serving breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and you can join the farm tour group or shop right up until lunch. You may then enjoy our pasture-raised beef burgers and an assortment of other menu items. Our afternoon edibles will include buttery Bulldog Brittle, the perfectly textured sugar cookies that melt in your mouth, and other goodies graciously baked by the locally famous, Ms. Debbie Ingram. We will also share samples of some of the food products we sell for small businesses throughout Georgia. Kristy Wilkins’ company, Run To The Farm, gives you a little hint as to what we should all do! Kristy offers lotions, body treatments, and beauty serums, along with shampoo and conditioner. White Oak Pastures’ traditional wooden gift boxes with one of our tallow candles, along with other tidbits, will be up for grabs! We have something to offer everyone, including your little, or perhaps big fur babies. Our pet chew section in the General Store includes a variety of dehydrated chews and rawhides that your pet will LOVE. We even have some White Oak Pastures’ tennis balls for your pup to chase around, and we welcome yours on the farm! Please take advantage of our 15% discount storewide, but the most exciting event is the appearance of Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their special little elf! Children will have the opportunity to tell Santa exactly what they want for Christmas and have their picture made with him as well. I also recommend you slip across the street to our Leather Shop to view our beautiful cowhide rugs available for purchase. They are gorgeous! So grab your family and friends and join us for an old-fashioned Christmas celebration!
