Waste Not, Want Not: Zero Waste Workshop

Corinne Kocher

We're a little biased, but we think White Oak Pastures is a pretty nice place to be. As it turns out, other people have been thinking the same thing. Over the past few years, our on-farm event capabilities have been growing. From corporate retreats to sit-down dinners to workshops, we've hosted a wide range of groups on our farm. With our new coordination system, we are planning more events than ever before.

Looking to participate in a workshop or host an event at White Oak Pastures? Read on to hear about our on-farm events and register for our upcoming Waste Not, Want Not Workshop.

From Our Farm To You and Yours

Monica McLendon

It’s the most wonderful time of the year” joyfully echoes from the radio, and it is!

However, they failed to mention that it is also the busiest, most hectic and quite honestly, the most stressful time of the year as well. When the stress of it all becomes too much, it’s important to take a deep breath and step away. A quiet, peaceful day on the farm is the best remedy for holiday stress. Please join us at White Oak Pastures’ General Store Open House in downtown Bluffton, GA on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Meet Chad Hunter - General Store Manager

Monica McLendon
Chad Hunter is a jack of all trades. He can arrange a beautiful floral centerpiece, deliver five-star waiter service, and also work cattle like a pro. We are so blessed to have Chad as part of our farm family.

Origin/History of the Names of the Cabins

Monica McLendon

Our four cabins are named after Harris family ancestors.

Bluffton has a rich history and the Harris family has been here for 152 years. You bet they have some stories now!
